TG EAPCET 2026 Results Officially Released: Pass Percentages and Toppers

The wait is finally over for over 3 lakh students, as the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) declared the TG EAPCET 2026 results on May 17. With strong performances across both the engineering and medical streams, it is time to check your scores and gear up for the upcoming counseling phases.

1. Overall Exam Performance and Pass Rates

The results revealed an impressive overall pass percentage of 77.25% across all disciplines this year. The Agriculture and Pharmacy stream led the pack with a massive 86.27% pass rate, while the Engineering stream saw 73.36% of students qualify.

Engineering Highlights: Out of the 1,97,241 candidates who appeared for the engineering exams, 1,44,704 successfully qualified for state ranking.
Top Performers: M. Rushi secured the prestigious Rank 1 in the Engineering stream, setting a high benchmark for top-tier college cutoffs this season.

2. How to Download Your Official Rank Card

Your official rank card is now live and serves as your mandatory ticket for the upcoming seat allotment rounds. You can download it directly from the official portal at eapcet.tgche.ac.in.

Keep your registration number, exam hall ticket number, and date of birth ready to quickly log into the portal.
Verify all printed details, including your normalized score, category, and state rank, to ensure there are absolutely no discrepancies before you register for counseling.

3. Understanding Qualifying Marks and Cutoffs

Securing a rank requires meeting the state's minimum qualifying threshold, which is strictly enforced for general category students. This normalized score balances out the difficulty across different shifts and days to keep the competition fair.

General category (OC) and BC students must secure a minimum of 25% (40 out of 160 marks) to officially qualify for a rank.
There are no minimum qualifying marks for SC and ST category candidates; their admission depends directly on the availability of reserved seats in specific colleges.

4. Preparing for the June Counseling Phase

With the results now out, the next major hurdle is the Web Counseling process, which is expected to kick off its first phase of registration in late June 2026. Start researching last year's cutoffs for your target colleges and get your income and caste verification certificates organized immediately.
